The Built-in Ultrasonic Scaler UDS-N2 by WOODPECKER incorporating the feature of LED light in the handpiece is used along with the dental unit for teeth cleaning.

The equipments working principle involves the coordination of various components, including the ultrasonic generator, cable, handpiece, scaling tip, pneumatic switch, and switch for the handpiece rack. When the handpiece is activated using the foot switch, the pneumatic power switch, pneumatic penstock, ultrasonic generator, and water supply are simultaneously activated, resulting in the vibration of the scaling tip. The LED lamp on the handpiece illuminates during operation.

The ultrasonic scaler operates within certain environmental conditions, including an ambient temperature ranging from +5°C to +40°C, relative humidity of 30% to 75%, atmospheric pressure of 70kPa to 106kPa, and water inlet temperature not exceeding +25°C.To maintain hygiene and safety, sterilization and maintenance procedures are recommended. Sterilization of the handpiece, scaling tips, torque wrench, LED lamp, and light pipe can be carried out using appropriate sterilization methods, such as autoclaving or disinfection with alcohol. Regular cleaning and lubrication of components are also advised.

It operates at a frequency of 28kHz+3kHz, generating ultrasonic waves that gently and efficiently break down stubborn deposits on the teeth, even in hard-to-reach areas. The scaler is designed for continuous operation, allowing dental professionals to perform thorough cleanings without interruptions. Its ergonomic handpiece ensures a comfortable grip and precise control, enabling dentists to navigate the treatment area with ease.
